Wir von BUS-ok haben schon öfter mal eine Doka mit großem Motor gesehen. Meistens lag der allerdings auf der Ladefläche. Bei dieser T3 Doppelkabine war alles anders. Da blubbert im Heck ein großer V8 vor sich hin.

Marc aus Düsseldorf kam heute bei uns vorbei, wollte Teile für seine T3 Doppelkabine holen. Zum Glück nur Karosserieteile, denn bei dem Motor in seinem Rennlaster hätten wir ihm nicht helfen können. Das ursprüngliche Arbeitstier hat im Heck einen Audi V8 Motor verbaut. Mit Hubraum, der ja bekanntlich durch nichts zu ersetzen ist. Außer durch Hubraum. 4,2 Liter sind wirklich ausreichend, definitiv immer mehr als doppelt so viel wie jemals in der Doppelkabine ab Werk eingebaut wurde.
Die Motorkraft bringt ein Automatik Getriebe auf die Straße. Das Getriebe ist ebenfalls aus einem Audi A8
Um die 320 PS auch souverän auf den Asphalt zu bringen ist in Marcs VW Bus das passende automatische Getriebe dazu eingebaut. Damit lässt es sich entspannt cruisen, und sollte doch einmal die Lichthupe im Rückspiegel zu sehr nerven, genügt ein beherzter Tritt auf das rechte Pedal, um den beigen Karton auf 200km/h zu bringen. Das sollte reichen, um den Lastesel mehr als artgerecht zu bewegen.
Für die Lenkung des gepimpten T3 hat Marc ein Lenkrad aus dem VW Golf VII eingebaut, natürlich mit funktionierenden Schaltwippen. Die passende Lenksäulenverkleidung und die für den Wählhebel der Automatik baut er aktuell noch.
Nach der Innenausstattung wird die Karosserie des T3 noch verschönert. Die Porsche-Aufkleber kommen ab, dann bleiben die Halbwüchsigen an der Ampel neben Marcs Doppelkabine auch ruhig. Und können höchstens an der Auspuffanlage vom Touareg erkennen, daß da was nicht mit rechten Dingen zugeht. Und wenn dann der Mund wieder zugeht, ist Marc mit seinem V8 schon aus der Stadt raus.
Den Umbau inklusive der Kosten für Motor und Getriebe beziffert Marc auf ca. 15000,- € netto. Umgebaut wurde von T3-dezent, auch wenn wir unter dezent was anderes verstehen 😉
